Just about to leave for the BMW rally - trailering my Beemer and my Savage - when along comes a major search for a fellow pilot and his airplane - 7 long days of searching to find a smashed airplane with two good friends gone.
No rally
No riding
No fun
Funeral was today - flew over to the small communtiy to join them - for the service
Savage licence plates are sitting on the floor in the bedroom - bike is 2000 miles away - looks like the summer of '00 is the year nothing gets ridden -
in the heat or in the cold!
